About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Christensen is a freelance artist from Sayville, New York. She is currently in the process of completing her master’s degree in Art History at Trinity College Dublin, and previously graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Geneseo in May 2017, with two majors, French and Art History, and two minors, Spanish and Museum Studies. Alongside her graduate school coursework, she is pursuing her passion for painting to recharge, heal, and connect with communities both in Ireland and in the United States. While Jacqueline finds personal fulfillment in expressing her creativity through watercolor, she finds her best work to be that which she creates for others. She seeks to touch the lives of families and friends with local art, capturing the faces of family, friends, pets, and hometowns through her painting.

The portfolio provides a glimpse into the work Jacqueline has completed from 2012 (high school) until today as a graduate student. She specializes in watercolor portraiture, but equally enjoys animal portraits, landscapes, medieval lettering, and planetary studies. She is fluent in French, and proficient in Spanish, and cultivates a tremendous passion for art, languages, and health.
